St John Lutheran Church

1301 Lincoln Avenue
Owatonna, MN 55060

Builder: Hendrickson Organ Co, Opus 34, 1976
Manuals: 3
Ranks: 51
Stops: 37
Pipes: 2682
Action: Direct Electric Slider

Notes: Voiced by Robert Sperling, regulated by Sperling and David Engen. Manual chests are slider with direct electric valves. Pedal is direct electric. Great on the left, Swell in the middle, Pedal on the right and above the Swell, with Positiv on the rail. Entire main organ is cantilevered somewhat because of the tone trap formed by the transepts and windows in the balcony. This is one reason the Positiv is so large -- to get the sound into the church. Replaced a Jubal electronic organ.
